Since that time it has remained the foremost service in both funding and prestige in its original kingdom and in the united Empire formed at the start of the 16th Century.

Notes and references Edit

  1. PL103-99642 "Defense Reorganization and Authorization Act of 1933"
  2. based on draft tonnage of combatant vessels
  3. SR is indicated as a neutral rate, other field would designate an E-1 differently such as AR for Airman Recruit
  4. The PO abbreviation would be replaced with a rating appropriate code such as HM3 for Hospitalman's Mate 3rd (Medics)
  5. This is the authorized strength for an ESG. Currently no Amphibious Squadron supports a full ESG as LHA procurement has just reached final design stage and additional LPD and LSD requirements are being bid for construction
